Learning a second language has become a very popular pastime and is probably one of the parts of learning that individuals continue to do long after school is over. Since you are spending time in your car anyway, it's a good idea to spend this time learning a new language.

Another thing that you can do, especially when you are on short trips and do not have the time to get into the lesson, is to listen to some Spanish cultural music. There are an almost endless supply of music and other CDs that are available in the Spanish language. Although they may not make much sense to you whenever you first plug them into your car, it is a good idea for you to associate with those that are speaking the language. This is a great way for you to be able to do this and to begin familiarizing yourself with some of the intricacies of the Spanish languages and phrases.

Finally, you need to be persistent in your efforts. Yes, it is possible for you to be able to learn Spanish in your car but you can't expect to learn it overnight. You would be surprised, however, with how soon you will learn enough of a language to begin communicating on a basic level. Once you can do this, the rest will all come to you quite naturally.
